A modern Italian classic with a wedding at St Michael’s the Archangel in Leederville followed by a reception at Ambrose Estate. They had a monochrome bridal party contrasting with vibrant coral and red blooms. Throw in that moody light around the Perth’s Como Treasury and some playfulness and you have THIS.
We had 3 hours to take our portraits (normally I say 1 hour is enough) but that’s what you have with a traditional church ceremony at 1pm and 6pm start for reception.
In an odd twist of fate, the groom’s favourite team were in the footy finals (Go Tigers!) and so mid portraits they got to sit back and watch the game and we could all put our feet up. And all I can say is THANK GOODNESS the Tigers won. It made reception spirits high.
We had a nice sunset moment back on the grounds at Ambrose which gave us a nice contrast to the inner city mood.
