“What you see with your eyes is ephemeral,
What you see through your heart is everlasting.”

My photography is the expression of my heart!

I see a wedding as the celebration & recognition of the love between you guys and also those friends and family who have been a part of your story. It really is a once in a lifetime party. The only bittersweet note should come from the fact that the happier the day, the faster it will go by, leaving your memories more like glimmering starlight than blinding sunshine.

That’s why I do what I do: a wedding is a rare opportunity to capture the magic, light and truth between us. I create memories full of personality and love. All you need to do is relax and enjoy your day knowing it will always be there to relive when you want a burst of happiness.

My never-ending affair with light, natural beauty and individual love, coupled with my down-to-earth, unobtrusive approach and a sixth sense for the special moments, means you will always recognise yourselves in your pictures. They will capture how you felt not just how you looked. Plus my ninja capture skills means you’ll have a whole lot of those meaningful & hilarious moments you might have missed.

So, if you are looking for a really relaxed, not-posey approach that documents your day authentically with all it’s laughs and tears then let’s start this adventure!

I probably have the least actual photos of myself of anyone I know so instead I give you a series of selfies! :-P

I live and work in beautiful Fremantle in Perth, Western Australia. I love travelling throughout WA for weddings & beyond. I love elopements & tiny weddings as much as the big parties.

My Style

Candid, relaxed, raw, emotive, natural, intuitive, fun, artistic & documentary.

My Background

I’ve been shooting since I was 13 would you believe! I starting out as a band photographer when I was 19. I then had a graphic design studio for ten years whilst doing regional & overseas residencies as a photographer and teacher. I’ve travelled around Australia in a van with my dog and ended up living in the Sunshine Coast working for the ABC, where I was a media producer creating & teaching content making. In 2010 I started I Heart Weddings & moved back to Fremantle where I now live with my partner and just love my little life here by the beach, shooting weddings & other personal projects. I have just launched my new name ‘We Are All Stardust’ which captures a greater sense of truth for me in how I approach photography. It’s fleeting, it’s magic & it’s bittersweet beauty!

Quotes from Couples

“Nat was absolutely INCREDIBLE! She did amazingly well capturing so many happy and special moments throughout the day. She gave a quick turnaround with the photos afterwards, some the same weekend followed by the rest of the edited photos shortly after. We definitely recommend Nat for her creativity and flair!” – Charlotte & Matt

“We are a little (or a lot) in love with Natalija. She is an incredibly talented photographer and a gorgeous person. All the photos she has sent us of our wedding so far (it was only a couple of weekends ago) have been AMAZING and we can’t wait to see the rest. She has an innate sense of colour and composition. Our album is going to be truly special and she has ensured our memories of our wedding day will be brighter and more intense than they might have otherwise!” – Jean & Stu

Best thing we ever did, booking Nat! Her photos are just stunning! Half the time you didn’t even know she was there. She really captured the moments of the day.” – Shonelle & Kai

“Natalija is truly gifted at what she does. She managed to capture the feelng of the day with limited staged photos and beautiful quality work. Couldn’t recommend her more highly.” – Rhiannon & Mark
